Major Racing Goal this season: Top 3 aggregate YOB at Nationals

Favourite snack of all time? Chocolate

Worst training experience ever? The long classic rollerski from Kanata to the Relais. I did it legs only because I broke a pole at the start of the ski.   

If you were a Harry Potter character, who would you be? I did a quiz and it said I would be Neville Longbottom

Favourite race course/location? Whitehorse was pretty awesome, Canmore is a close second

Do you want to climb Mt. Everest? Why not, sounds fun  

Double poling or striding? Hard to say, double pole in klister conditions, striding in hardwax conditions   

Worst pre-race food consumed? 1 smoothie with nothing but frozen fruit and spinach  

Most impressive teammate you’ve been around, and why? Carrington Pomeroy. I am always amazed that he can balance countless hours of training with full time school and coaching L2C.   

Best race experience? The 7.5 km freestyle race at Nationals in Whitehorse  

What inspires you most? Staying fit, healthy and happy  

Facebook/Snapchat/Instagram/Twitter? I only have Facebook. I am not really much of a social media guy

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Smoothies, they are fast, healthy and you can make many different types

Best training experiences ever? My first time skiing in Canmore. For someone who had never been to the mountains before, the scenery was pretty surreal.

If you had to compete in a summer Olympic sport, what would it be? Triathlon

Hardest workout completed, and why? The 5 hour hike in Lake Placid this year. I did not bring enough water and it was 34 degrees and humid. Near the end, I was feeling drowsy and it took all my focus and determination just to keep moving  

What movie have you watched the most number of times in your life? Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark

Book you’re reading right now? I find I don’t have time to read recreationally these days. I guess my reading consists of my university textbooks

What is the most epic workout you’ve ever done? The long rollerski during my first ever Owl camp when I first joined Nakkertok. At that point, it was definitely the longest sustained workout I had ever done

Bowling or mini-golf? Mini golf is pretty fun
