Favourite snack of all time? Peanut butter and Cheese on Crackers
Worst training experience ever? When I was sick a week before Nationals, I tried to go for a ski and felt so horrible that I herringboned up every hill on my skate skis.
If you were a Harry Potter character, who would you be? Hermione Granger
Favourite race course/location? Any race course at Blow me Down Nordic in Newfoundland
Do you want to climb Mt. Everest? Not really; I’m not the biggest fan of heights
Double poling or striding? Oh, double poling all the way, though I am learning to love striding.
Worst pre-race food consumed? I always eat the same food before every race—Oatmeal, Toast with Jam and a Banana.
Most impressive teammate you’ve been around, and why? Kyla. She always brings the best positive attitude to practice and is an amazing example of someone following her dreams.
Best race experience? Classic Mass Start at Easterns in the Juvenile age category. It was an unforgettable lesson in never giving up.
What inspires you most? Hard work, grit and determination!

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Cheesecake

Best training experiences ever? I actually really enjoy training and can’t pick a favorite from all the awesome workouts that I’ve done!
If you had to compete in a summer Olympic sport, what would it be? Mountain biking; rolling over rocks and through mud is just so much fun!
Hardest workout completed, and why? The concluding workout at the Lake Placid training camp that involved 2 sets of 4x300m running . My legs were absolutely exhausted and I remember being terrified the whole workout that they would give out underneath me.
What movie have you watched the most number of times in your life? The Sound of Music
Book you’re reading right now? I’m currently reading textbooks. . . but I highly recommend Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas.
What is the most epic workout you’ve ever done? I am of the mind that any workout involving mud, blood or copious amounts of pain earns a spot in the Epic category.
Bowling or mini-golf? Mini Golf for sure!
