“Nakkertok would like to thank the National Winter Sports Development Association for their ongoing support, enabling us to hire our professional coaching staff.”
Nakkertok runs one of the largest and most successful cross country ski racing programs in Canada. The program is offered for athletes from age 9-20+ and follows the Cross Country Canada Long Term Athlete Development Model. Each program level is designed to match the physical and technical ability of the athlete. For a general overview of the cost structure, see directly below.

U14 (2007-2008)
(Formerly Midgets) Tailored to athletes going through their peak growth period by building skills, a strong physical foundation, and the athlete’s “engine” – aerobic capacity – that will allow them to perform to their potential, both individually and as part of a team. For news about the U14 program, see U14.
U16 (2005-2006)
(Formerly Juveniles) Athletes in this category will be trained to refine mental, physical and emotional skills as well as technical skills and fitness in competition, and encouraged to race locally, regionally (Ontario or Quebec Cup Series), and nationally when appropriate. For news about the U16 program, see U16.
U18 (2003-2004)
(Formerly Juniors) Training ratchets up to a high volume and intensity, designed to refine mental, physical and emotional techniques as well as technical skills and strategies in competition. With the increase in fitness expectations comes concomitant coaching supervision.
For news about the U18 program, see U18.
For athletes aged 18+ who either want to combine University studies with participation in high-level regional and national race events, or travel to Noram level races and pursue competition opportunities at the highest level in North America. For news about the ENRG program, see ENRG.
