Women on Skis
Women on Skis encourages women of all levels to get out and enjoy winter, to network with others who have similar interests and to experience great cross-country skiing. This group of experienced volunteer skiers raises funds for women’s health and social issues.
Ski de fond des Collines
Run by the Nakkertok Val-des-Monts Management Team, Ski de fond des Collines promotes cross-country skiing in the Outaouais Hills’ region through a turnkey ski initiation program in the area’s elementary schools.
Bird Watching
Nakkertok offers its visitors an amazing opportunity to view several bird species. So if you’re coming over for a walk/run/ski/snowshoe, why not bring some binoculars as well and click on the link to see what birds you might see?
Officials
Many Nakkertok Nordic parents and racers have spent the time needed to become certified race officials. Find out who they are and then check out our Coaching Workshops section to find out more about how to become one too!
Coaching Workshops
The new 2016/2017 ski season is nearly upon us! Time to plan to either take your first coaching course, or upgrade your coaching skills by taking a higher level course. In this section, you will find courses being hosted at Nakkertok.
Ski Exchange
The Race Program Ski Exchange is a truly rewarding experience for our young skiers! Our young racers travel to western Canada (with parent volunteers / chaperones) to visit and train with a partner ski club. Later in season, those young skiers come to Ottawa to experience life in the Nation’s capital.
