Due to the significant rain over the last few days, the park Nakkertok Val-des-Monts and all of its trails (ski, snowshoe, walking) are closed until further notice. This helps to protect the trails from damage and allows us to get the trails back into good shape more quickly after we return to more normal temperatures.
Nakkertok’s annual family fun race is back on Boxing Day, December 26th. Organized by ENRG, the Burnoff is a three person free technique relay with prizes for fastest team and for best costumes. Club members can access the trails as usual. Non-members require a Day Pass. For now we recommend rock skis and to be careful of occasional water when you're off the Nakkertrak.
With the forecast snow for Thursday and Friday, the trails and facilities teams will be preparing the larger trail network for skiing by packing and grooming the snow. As a result, we are requesting that members not walk on the ski trails. Walking on ski trails it harms them and creates dangerous conditions for skiers. [...]
