The club organizes a number of events every year. The dates change and there is a different registration link every year. Watch the news section for updates.
Boxing Day Burnoff
A family-friendly fun race to get you outside and skiing around during the holiday season. Reliably held on… well, December 26th. There will be costumes.
Cookie Race
Open to all ages, an unofficial race with a special emphasis on the littlest ones. Famous for its edible participation medals. Typically held in early March.
Candy Cane Cup
An early-season, Nordic Canada-sanctioned event with race categories for U12 and older. Held in mid-December. Organized by ENGNE.
Nakkerloppet (Adventure Race)
This event has taken many different shapes over the years as our ability to ski from North to South has changed. Typically held in March. Organized by our Adventure Program.
Thea’s Race
A late-season relay race that emphasizes fun and participation. It features all-ages, mixed and parent-child categories. Named for Nakkertok pioneer Thea Holloway. It typically takes place mid-March.
Trail Enduro
Run once, twice or fifteen times around the hilly trails of Nakkertok Val des Monts. Typically held in May, this race may not involve much skiing but it’s a ton of fun. Or you can do the twelve hour version. The 2026 edition is May 9 at 6:30am.
