The race takes place in March each year to commemorate Thea Holloway. In the spirit of cooperation, it’s a relay with both fun and competitive categories.
Thea’s Race
Celebrates the legacy of Thea Holloway, founding member and past president of Nakkertok, and a lifelong champion of women in sport. Held in March at Nakkertok South, this classic technique relay welcomes all skiers with categories for “fun,” “fun and fast,” and “fun, fast and female.” A perfect mix of camaraderie, challenge, and tradition for newcomers and seasoned racers alike.
