Nakkertok Ski Patrol needs someone like YOU!
Formed in 2007 by Rob and Jenifer Cepella, the Nakkertok Canadian Ski Patrol team has proudly served visitors of Eastern Canada’s largest nordic ski club and its over 80km of nordic skiing and snowshoeing trails.
The Canadian Ski Patrol is a national non-profit organization made up of nearly 5000 volunteers from coast to coast that provides advanced first aid and emergency response services at more than 230 ski resorts and Nordic centres, as well as hundreds of recreational and sporting events across Canada. Members of the Canadian Ski Patrol assigned to Nakkertok receive their training and insurance through the CSP, and adhere to national standards for Advanced First Aid.
At Nakkertok, our patrollers provide first aid expertise and trail knowledge to all of our patrons at both Nakkertok North and South during Learn to Ski sessions and the year-round races hosted at Nakkertok. Our patrollers are trained in first aid, winter survival, and patient transportation and are ready to educate, assist, and rescue and and all skiers throughout the winter.
Joining the Canadian Ski Patrol has been a valuable opportunity to learn advanced First
Aid skills and become part of the ski patrol at Nakkertok. Very often you’ll hear Nakkertok
patrollers say how they enjoy the camaraderie in the group with its spirit of friendship and
community. The patrollers at Nakkertok are people who enjoy working together as a
team. They are professional, have fun, come from a variety of interesting backgrounds
and I always value spending time with them. My time as a ski patroller at Nakkertok
blends my love of skiing and family activities at Nakkertok, while giving me a great way to
contribute as a volunteer.

The Nakkertok team of the Canadian Ski Patrol is trying to recruit more Nakkertok members to join the team to serve Nakkertok. The Advanced First Aid training is a useful life skill and a way to serve Nakkertok as a part of each member’s volunteer commitment to the club!
