ENRG
High Performance in the Capital Region
What is Équipe Nakkertok Racing Program:
ENRG is a high performance racing program based in the Ottawa-Gatineau region, supporting U20, U23 and senior athletes targeting tier 1 events while managing post-secondary responsibilities.
For those interested in developing performance as skiers within a close knit training environment set in the heart of the nation’s capital ENRG is for you.
Mission Statement:
ENRG is committed to supporting athletic development beyond the U18 level, while fostering an environment of consistent self improvement and personal excellence.
Through the development of our athletes and the giving back to the ski and Nakkertok community, ENRG acts as a bulwark representing the very best of Nordic Skiing.

Ottawa-Gatineau Region:
Hosting over 170km of running, 200km of urban roller skiing and access to some of the worlds best car free roller skiing in Gatineau Park, only 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa or 15 minutes from downtown Gatineau.
Additional trail access and early snow making available on the Nakkertok grounds ensures the region offers a world class training environment for all athletes throughout the training year.
Head Coach

Joshua Lohka.
Hailing originally from Calgary Alberta, with over half a decade of coaching experience Josh brings a fresh perspective to the ENRG program.
With experience coaching at the club and high-performance level Josh’s coaching career has taken him across Canada, working as an assistant coach with Foothills Nordic Ski Club, Head Coach at XC Bragg Creek, and holding dual roles as an assistant coach and assistant wax-technician with the Alberta World Cup Academy.
Beyond the club level Josh has worked with Nordiq Canada as a coach and wax technician at multiple international events, most recently the FIS Cross-Country World Cup Finals in Lake Placid USA.
For Josh, skiing is far more than a sport — it is a tool that brings out the best in people, builds community, and opens doors to experience the world.
