Nakkertok’s post-secondary high-performance team, ENRG, is putting on a late-season Ski Fest April 1st and 2nd, featuring the second annual Nakkertok Stadium
Sprint Championships of the Universe and the Nakkertok Enduro.
Saturday’s Stadium Sprint Championship will feature rounds of 100 m skate sprints, which will eventually lead to elimination rounds before crowning the Nakkertok Stadium Sprint Champion of the Universe.
Sunday’s Enduro challenges skiers to see how many laps of the 2.5km Enduro loop they can ski in 6 hours, whether solo or in teams.
Registration is $30 on Zone4.ca. Deadline is March 30th at midnight. Day-of registration is available on-site but it will cost you $40.
There will be ‘door’ prizes (culvert prizes, really) and prizes for best costumes.
