How do you swap your rollerski tips? Hot water in an empty yogurt container and lots of glue
What song do you want to hear before you start a big race? “Wake me up”
One travel item you can’t go without? Wool Socks
What’s the most epic workout you’ve ever had? One day a friend and I did a head-to-head strength competition in a park. The dips, push-ups, and sit-ups went well, but neither of us would give in on the jump squats. 230 later we were a bit sore.
Favourite skier? Anybody who sets a good pace and lets me draft them
Where will skiing be in 5 years? Further north
Worst training experience ever? A skate roller-ski time-trial I raced on borrowed classic boots which were a couple sizes too big. I fell 5 times and broke a pole
Most scared you’ve ever been during a race? At Nationals in T. Bay 30km, I spent a few painful minutes on the side of the course just trying to breath unable to figure out what was wrong. (Still don’t know)
Best sport (after skiing)? Ultimate
