Parents – Volunteer Duties

Parents – Volunteer Duties

Volunteers are what make Nakkertok great. Remember that your kids benefit from all the hard work that goes into making the LTS program what it is. Please help out in any way you can! If you are interested in filling any of the roles below contact the Learn-To-Ski Director.

  • Learn-to-Ski Director (Head of Hares)
  • Day Coordinators
  • Lead and Assistant Coaches
  • Barn/Chalet Parent (to look after cold or injured skiers)
  • Barn/Chalet Cleanup
  • Photographer for Team Photos
  • Picnic/Potluck Coordinator
  • Picnic/Potluck Volunteers (cooking, setup, cleaning)
  • Translators (website and documents)
  • Fall Trail Clearing
  • Event Support

There are always other little things that are needed as well: getting wood for the fireplaces, starting fires in the fireplaces at the main chalet and secondary chalets, joining a lesson, bringing hot chocolate for kids (half cold water for Bunnyrabbits!), starting bonfires and bringing s’mores to the Birkebeiner outing. Every little bit helps and counts towards volunteer hours.
